Based on the principle of developing the scientific and academic reality at the University of Anbar, and under the direction of the esteemed President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Saleh Al-Nida, a special ranking was prepared for the University of Anbar's colleges through joint cooperation between the International Rankings Unit, the Scientific Follow-up Unit, and the Sustainable Development Unit. This ranking includes important indicators in the national ranking and approved international rankings. This ranking is called the "University Ranking of the University of Anbar's Colleges." To highlight the specificity of the ranking of the university's colleges, it is abbreviated as "Internal Ranking."
The proposed internal ranking is based on five main criteria: (educational environment, scientific research, financial and material resources, website, and sustainable development), which in turn contain 68 indicators.
These indicators aim to assist colleges in monitoring their effectiveness within pre-determined plans that work to develop scientific and academic output in line with the university's strategic plan. This ranking also helps the university meet the requirements of reliable and accredited international rankings.
